Hey There! I'm

Nikita (Nee-Kee-TAA)

I am a design researcher with 3 years of qualitative and quantitative research experience working in rigorous academic settings, health and wellbeing, consumer facing services as well as communication platforms.

I’m intrigued by the complex symbiotic relationship between technology and society and its impact on our lived experiences. I think deeply about an individual’s intersectional identity and critique the impact of inherent gender bias built into the socio-technical practices through feminist theories.

I excel at sense-making in compounded research spaces, turning research findings into actionable insights. As an engineer, I bring a deeper understanding of engineering systems and technologies. Streamlining team collaboration and bridging the gap between, actionable insights, design decisions and engineering limitations.

In my free time, I'm either experimenting with art or chasing sunsets and exploring the pacific northwest.

I recently graduated with my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction and Design (MHCI+D), Class of 2022 from the University of Washington.
